KUALA LUMPUR: Actor Henley Hii, 39, welcomed the birth of a baby girl after his wife Pauline Tan, 33, had a safe delivery at a medical centre in Petaling Jaya yesterday.
In a post on Hii's IG account yesterday, Tan said she was grateful to receive the best care from the hospital that facilitated the smooth birthing process of their little bundle of joy named Maya Hii.
"Welcome to the world, our precious daughter Maya Hii. We've been expecting your arrival for the longest time ever.
"Deepest gratitude to Dr Doris Gynae for guiding and providing advice along my pregnancy journey.
"Despite having to change labour plans at the last minute, I knew I was in good hands," she said.
Harian Metro reported yesterday that Hii, who starred in the local military action movie Paskal, said that his baby should have been born early and decided that his wife would undergo a C-section procedure.
"The birth should have been scheduled for March 7, which is last Thursday," he said.
Hii and Tan tied the knot in mid-2022.
