#Showbiz: BTS' Suga 'D-Day' concert movie to hit cinemas in April

KUALA LUMPUR: Fans of BTS' Suga, a.k.a. Agust D, will get to experience the popular idol's exhilarating concert in cinemas on April 10.

Titled Suga/Agust D Tour D-Day The Movie, the feature film will showcase Suga's grand finale D-Day The Final concert from his world tour which took place last year.

The tour saw the 31-year-old South Korean rapper, songwriter and music producer captivate over 290,000 fans during his 25 concerts in 10 cities around the world.

Directed by Junsoo Park and produced by Hybe and Jiwon Yoon, the upcoming concert movie will showcase Suga's energy and enthralling stage presence as he performs his various hit tracks with special guest appearances by his fellow BTS mates RM, Jimin and Jung Kook.

Suga, whose real name is Min Yoon-gi, is known for his record producing ability with his own solid musical philosophy, constantly pushing the boundaries through his works on BTS albums, solo projects and collaborations with other artistes.

Since BTS' 2014 Skool Luv Affair, the K-pop group's albums have included tracks produced by Suga.

The talented idol has also expressed his creativity through his mixtapes under the moniker Agust D.

Suga/Agust D Tour D-Day The Movie is already set to become a global event with upcoming screenings in over 3,000 cinemas in more than 90 territories worldwide.

These include the US, Mexico, Brazil, the UK, Italy, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand, Philippines, Malaysia and more.

Advance ticket bookings for Suga/Agust D Tour D-Day The Movie are already available at local cinema chains.
