#Showbiz: Bella shocked by allegation that she planned Aliff and Ruhainies 'khalwat arrest'

KUALA LUMPUR: Actress Bella Astillah, 30, brushed off speculations claiming that she had planned the arrest of her husband Aliff Aziz and Ruhainies during their recent khalwat fiasco. 

Bella, whose full name is Dayang Ara Nabella Awang Astillah, said she was surprised and would not think to do such a thing to Ruhaimies who she considers a good friend.

"Why would I plan something like that? I myself was surprised.

"Everyone knows I am good with the actress involved (Ruhainies).

"Actually, you can check with Jawi (Federal Territories Islamic Religious Department)," she said in an interview on TV3 music programme Melodi, today.

Bella added that she wanted to move on and was not perturbed by what netizens thought about the whole unfortunate situation.

"I'm currently just focused on moving on," she said.

Bella also shared that an individual had contacted her to convey information related to Aliff.

"I have met and got this person's phone number.

"The person had wanted to contact me for a long time, but I've been very busy," she said.

Previously, the arrest of Aliff and Ruhainies by Jawi officers in a condominium, here on March 9 became the talk of the town.

They were released on bail later on the same day and are set to be charged in the Syariah Court.

Bella filed for divorce from Aliff last Monday but the case mention was delayed after the actor was not able to attend due to being tied up with filming a drama.

Last Thursday, Aliff and Ruhainies released official statements online to explain what had really taken place on that fateful night and denied that they were in a special relationship.

Bella and Aliff tied the knot on Sept 9, 2016. They have two children, Mohamad Ayden Adrean, 7, and Ara Adreanna, 4.
