KUALA LUMPUR: Siti Hafizah Basharahil, the mother of actor and singer Aliff Aziz, has described her former daughter-in-law Bella Astillah as a "great actress".
Siti Hafizah, in an Instagram Story yesterday, described Bella's tearful admission that Aliff had cheated on her almost a dozen times, as "good acting, with real tears".
"Tears and good acting can cover our eyes and hide the truth from us," she said.
"But we will always be afraid of our own shadows."
Siti Hafizah ended her quote with the hashtag #PandanganIkhlas meaning "honest view".
Yesterday, Bella tearfully admitted that Aliff had cheated on her 11 times throughout their marriage.
She also said that one of the women whom Aliff had an affair with was her own younger sister.
On March 13, Bella filed for divorce from Aliff at the Federal Territories Syariah Court in Jalan Duta here.
Aliff was caught for khalwat with actress Ruhainies Zainul Ilyas at her condominium on March 8.
