KUALA LUMPUR: FGV Holdings Berhad has brightened up Ramadan with a Raya short film, Minyak Maaf, filled with humour and touching messages.
The heartwarming short features beloved comedians Joey Daud and Balkisyh Semundur Khan, alongside legendary actors Nasir Bilal Khan and Delimawati Ismail.
In an effort to break the mold of traditional festive videos, Minyak Maaf dives into "komedi geram", led by its intriguing lead character Abdul.
The creative work, under FGV's consumer products division featuring its Saji cooking oil and Seri Pelangi margarine, is part of the Sajikan Kemesraan campaign.
The Minyak Maaf short film, which delivers a message of forgiveness through laughter, is available on Saji's Facebook and YouTube platforms.
As part of the campaign, the Raikan Kemeriahan contest offers RM50,000 in cash prizes for customers to explore Saji and Seri Pelangi products for a chance to win enticing rewards.
Aside from that, FGV's Kasih Asnaf Saji programme, in partnership with Muslim Care Malaysia, seeks to donate RM1.2 million to needy families in an effort to enrich the spirit of Ramadan and Syawal.
In time for Raya celebrations, Saji has also expanded its culinary offerings by introducing Ketupat Mini Saji and Sup Bunjut Saji to elevate everyone's daily and festive meals.
