KUALA LUMPUR: Controversial actress Ruhainies Zainul Ilyas, 32, said that she might soon take legal action against Singaporean netizen Sarah Yasmine.
However, she added that it all "depends on the circumstances".
In a Harian Metro report yesterday, Ruhainies said that Persatuan Seniman Malaysia had earlier advised her to sue Sarah Yasmine for allegedly invading her privacy.
"I fully welcome Seniman president Zed Zaidi's suggestion that I make a report to the police and the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) against Sarah Yasmine. On my part, I have also consulted with some lawyers," she said.
Ruhainies was caught for khalwat with Singaporean singer and actor Aliff Aziz at her condominium on March 8.
Following this, Aliff's singer and actress wife Bella Astillah filed for divorce at the Federal Territories Syariah Court in Jalan Duta.
She also revealed that Aliff had had 11 extra-marital affairs since their marriage in 2016.
Sarah, who claimed that she had been in a relationship with Aliff since last year, made a series of "revelations" over the last week, claiming that Ruhainies had influenced Aliff to leave Bella and also sabotaged her career in showbiz.
