KUALA LUMPUR: MYExperience, a booklet featuring over 500 niche travel packages in Malaysia was launched today by the Tourism, Arts and Culture Minister Datuk Mohamaddin Ketapi.
Offered by over 109 certified travel agencies, the packages are presented in 23 categories that include mountain climbing, heritage, diving, eco-trekking and many more. The booklet is an initiative by Tourism Malaysia done conjunction with Visit Malaysia 2020 (VM2020).
At the launch, Mohamaddin said he hoped that the booklet will encourage more Malaysians to travel domestically.
“With the crisis of Novel Coronavirus that’s plaguing the country, the local tourism industry has recorded a significant dropped in the number of visitors. We, as Malaysians, must work together to rebuild the local industry,” he said.

Alternatively, interested individuals can book the travel packages from the tour agencies featured in the booklet. Some of the deals are priced as low as RM60 for Cameron Highlands Sunrise Adventure (four hours). All of the offers end Dec 31, 2020.
