KOTA KINABALU: Pezzo has introduced a new pizza flavour - Satay Chicken - in conjunction with the Ramadan celebration.
The pizza, priced at RM7.50 per slice (excluding Goods and Services Tax) featured minced chicken in a mixture of herbs and spices, which consist of lemongrass, galangal, coriander, tumeric, and cumin.
Sabah and Sarawak Pezzo vice senior manager Cathy Ting said the Satay Chicken pizza would only be available throughout the fasting month.
"Ramadan is a special time for our Muslim friends and we would like to make 'berbuka puasa' an even more special occasion.
"Hence, we are here to bring our customers a more localised flavour and jazzed up with spicy peanut sauce, bombay onions, and mozzarella cheese," she said at the Pezzo's breaking fast event with media at Gaya Street here.
On Pezzo's development, Ting said there are currently 56 branches throughout Sabah, Sarawak and Labuan federal territory.
In Sabah, Pezzo has opened stalls in Kota Kinabalu (7), Sandakan (2), and Papar (1).
"We have also recently set up a branch at the Labuan Airport. In future, we hope to open another three more (branches) in Sabah namely here, Semporna and Lahad Datu," said Ting.
