NOTHING brings car lovers together more than having even more cars around while reminiscing about the good ol' times.
My Classic Cars recently held its first event for the year, bringing classic car owners and enthusiasts together at the A&W Drive-In Petaling Jaya.
The event, titled "Classic Sunday" was held on Jan 21 and attracted more than 200 classic cars and bikes.
The place was filled up by 10am, with the car display later moved to the car park in front of Menara HM Shah.
More cars would turn up and both the Light Rail Transit and Amcorp Mall car parks were eventually filled up as well.
Some of the highlights at the event included the 1954 Packard Clipper Deluxe driven by organiser Rukshan Munesinghe. It was most likely the oldest participating car.
There was also a 1978 Mazda RX7 Savanna that was formerly owned by Harvey Yap, a prominent racer in the 1970s, alongside Ford Mustang and MGB to Volkswagen Beetles and Mini Coopers.
