KUALA LUMPUR : Number of areas recorded with unhealthy Air Pollutant Index (API) readings has decreased to 29 areas of 3pm.
Banting recorded the highest reading of 173 followed by Nilai at 172.
Other locations which were in the unhealthy range were Port Klang (170), Port Dickson (166), Seri Manjung (166), Putrajaya (158) and Bukit Rambai (163), among others.
Other 16 areas were in the moderate range.
An API of between 0 and 50 is good, 51 to 100 (moderate), 101 to 200(not healthy), 201 to 300 (very unhealthy) and 300 upwards (dangerous).
