KUALA LUMPUR: Sasbadi Holdings Bhd, en route for listing on the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia tomorrow, posted earnings of RM3 million for the third quarter ended May 312014 on the back of RM17.94 million revenue.
In a filing to Bursa Malaysia
yesterday, the company said
the quarterly report was announced pursuant to the listing requirements, which required it to announce Sasbadi’s latest results at least two market days before the listing date.
“The revenue and profit of
the current quarter were derived mainly from Sasbadi Sdn Bhd, which is mainly involved in
educational publishing and distribution of applied learning products.
“Sales of online educational products under Sasbadi Online Sdn Bhd picked up during the current quarter due to new products based on the modified version of the school-based assessment implemented in April,” it said.
