GEORGE TOWN: BOSE, an audio system and instrument manufacturer, is making its presence felt in Penang with the opening of its highly-anticipated showroom here recently.
Brought by Atlas, the premium audio visual retailer and sole distributor for Bose products in the country, the new showroom is located in Straits Quay in Tanjung Tokong.
The outlet was designed in the same style as Bose’s global showrooms with a display area for customers to experience the premium sound of its systems.
It has also been constructed to provide enthusiasts with the best possible atmosphere to enjoy Bose’s speakers, headphones and sound systems.
The showroom was also designed with an exclusive look and customers can assess the products in total comfort.
Atlas chief operating officer Michael Tien said the showroom in Straits Quay was the third in the country after The Gardens Mid Valley and Bandar Sunway.
“We aim to expand to the northern region as we have done well in the central.
“We bring the experience of our full range of premium sound systems to the people in this showroom.
“This showroom not only offers a complete array of Bose products but also enables us to serve our customers better,” he said at the launching ceremony.
In conjunction with the opening, Atlas introduced the Sound True on-ear and around-ear headphones which come in vibrant colours.
The lightweight and portable headphone features a reinforced headband with soft cushion and foam ear cups.
It also delivers powerful low notes, clear high-frequencies and promises a smooth, full-range reproduction of vocals and instruments as if it was a real performance.
