KUALA LUMPUR: Datuk Seri Najib Razak tonight congratulated Sarawak Chief Minister Tan Seri Adenan Satem who was picked to receive the Asia HRD Award 2014.
"Heartfelt congratulationS to the Sarawak Chief Minister Tan Sri Adenan Satem on receiving the Asia HRD Award 2014," said the prime minister in his Twitter account.
Adenan received the award in appreciation of his excellent contribution to the development of the people in Sarawak.
The award was handed over by Bahrain's former Works Minister, Fahmi Ali Al Jowder, who is also Asia HRD Awards 2014 committee member, at Adenan's office in Wisma Bapa Malaysia, Petra Jaya, Sarawak, yesterday. -- BERNAMA
