MH17: Netizens share sorrow on social media

KUALA LUMPUR: Millions of netizens shared their sorrow on social media as the nation mourns today.

“May Allah give you strength aunty,” Intan said.

JJ said on his Facebook account that Malaysia was silent for one minute, together. He hoped that God watch over everyone affected by ‪#‎MH17.

In addition, Az Ashburn through his comments welcomes the return of the 20 remains of MH17.

“Welcome home dear angels, Al-Fatihah and deepest condolences,” he said.

Meanwhile, netizens use hashtag #MH17home and #MH17 to share their kind words to the victims of MH17 on the national mourning day.

@juwita1982 said tears are falling and #mh17home will always be in her dreams.

“I'll always see you soar above the sky, I'll keep a part of you with me, #staystrong,” she said.

@kikinsaad prays that Allah grant the victims the highest level of Jannah.

“Allah knows better, keep them in our du'a and they will never be forgotten, Ameen. #MH17,” she said.

@Hafizbo through his twitter account said “you'll arrive where you're supposed to be, sorry for the long delay and welcome home #mh17."

Moments after a one minute silence at 10.54am, @HelenaAzmi said “I'm touched by how many drivers actually stop at the side of the highway with their emergency signals on. #FaithInHumanityRestored #MH17,” she said .
