IPOH: A 50-year-old man escape injuries after a half metre sinkhole appeared at the living room of his home at Buntong 3 Tambahan here.
In the 4pm incident on Tuesday, the victim, identified as Selvarajoo, managed to dash out of his house.
Ipoh Fire and Rescue Department chief P. Samasuvam said the department received a distress call at 5.12pm.
"After checking to ensure no victims fell into the hole, we referred the matter to the police," he said.
The operation was called off at 9.05pm.
