KOTA KINABALU: Several places at East Coast Sabah were hit by power outage since 6am.
Sabah Electricity Sdn Bhd spokesperson confirmed among affected districts include Sandakan, Beluran, Kinabatangan, Lahad Datu, Kunak, Semporna and Tawau.
"It is believed that there was a problem on its 275kV Kolopis - Segaliud transmission line (at Ranau).
"Investigation is still ongoing to identify the exact cause," he said, adding that the power supply had been restored in stages in some areas about three hours later.
