KUALA LUMPUR: Etiqa Insurance and Takaful has appointed Sue Chi Kong as chief executive officer (CEO) of its Singapore-based insurance unit, Etiqa Insurance Pte Ltd, and Luisa Evaristo as chief risk officer effective July 1 and August 1, 2014 respectively.
In a statement today, Etiqa Insurance said Sue has over 30 years' experience in the insurance industry, including two in Great Eastern Life Assurance prior to joining Maybank Group in March 2003.
It said Evaristo, who took over from Rogier Willem Peters, would be responsible to further strengthen the risk management practices of the group.-- Bernama
