DPM: Malaysian Examination Board director and deputy suspended pending investigation

VIENTIANE: The Education Ministry has decided to suspend the Malaysian Examination Board director and deputy-director (operation) ‎from their duty effective immediately pending a full investigation into the UPSR papers leak incident.

Deputy Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin said the ‎decision to suspend the Board's director Dr Naimah Ishak and her deputy Dr Wan Ilias Wan Salleh was made due to the seriousness of the incident.

Muhyiddin, who is also Education Minister said ‎following the suspension, Education deputy director-general Datuk Misrah Ibrahim would assume the duty of the board's director pending the investigation.
