COME Nov 8, Shunza And The Red Groove Project will perform at the Genting International Convention Centre, First World Hotel at 8.30pm.
American singer-songwriter Shunza inherited the talents of her clarinet-playing father and pianist mother. She studied at the School of Jazz and Contemporary Music in Lausanne, Switzerland and was in the band Duty Free before signing a record contract with Moyan Records in 1994.
Shunza’s concerts are intimate. She has collaborated with Taiwanese singers Elva Hsiao and Wilber Pan and released numerous albums in Mandarin, Japanese, English and French. Her hits include Come Home, Dear Friends and Don’t Cry Out Loud.
In 1999, she was hailed as the Best Female Singer and Best Composer at the 10th Golden Melody Awards.
