JOHOR BARU: PAS Muslimat chief Siti Zailah Mohd Yusof today said the women party wing supports the decision by party president Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang to abide by a decree by Sultan of Selangor to nominate more than two names for the State's menteri besar post.
"We support not only our president but will also accept the Sultan's choice for the MB post," she said after the opening of the party's wing annual general meeting.
Meanwhile Pas vice-president Datuk Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man who opened the muslimat meeting said Pas has no intention to oppose any decree by the Sultan.
He however admitted that some Pas leaders were not satisfied with the decision.
"Disagreements are norm in meetings but we are with the jemaah who must support our leaders, in particular the Syura Council which is the highest within the party," he said.
