BEIJING: Lenovo Group Ltd will pay US$200 million (RM654 million) less for International Business Machines Corp’s low-end server unit, with the transaction closing this week after passing a review conducted amid heightened tensions between the United States and China. The final price will be US$2.1 billion, down from the US$2.3 billion announced in January, to reflect lower-than- projected inventories at the time of the October 1 closing, said a Lenovo spokesman yesterday.
