KANGAR: A 15-year-old student from SMK Syed Alwi was killed when he fell from the ceiling of the school hall at about 11.30am today.
Muhamad Hakimi Zulkifli, a Form Three student died from severe head injuries after plunging some 30-metres from the ceiling. It is learnt that the student had sneaked into the hall via its back door alone before climbing up to the ceiling for an unknown reason.
State Education Department Dun Kasa confirmed the incident, saying the boy had attended his first two classes in the morning but went missing after recess.
