PUTRAJAYA: A six-year-old boy was killed when he fell from the 13th floor of his family's apartment in Presint 5 last night.
Victim Megat Arif Hussein Megat Irwan was still alive when he was rushed to the Putrajaya hospital where he was pronounced dead about 2am today.
The boy's aunty Puteri Nur Athirah Mohd Alias,25, said before the tragedy, Megat Arif was sleeping in the car after coming home from a family outing last night.
"His father carried him up once they reached home and left Megat in the apartment as he had to go back downstairs to attend to my sister-in-law who is wheelchair bound after she was involved in an accident," she said.
Puteri Nur Athirah said as her brother, Megat Irwan Mohd Alias, was helping his wife, one of the neighbours told him that his son had fallen down.
The young boy was laid to rest at the Presint 20 Muslim cemetery.
