Cagers set for battle

PETALING JAYA: The concourse of the USJ Summit Shopping Complex will be abuzz with activity on Saturday as teams do battle in the 4th URMYBRO 3-on-3 Junior Unity Basketball Carnival.

The mixed race teams — limited to 32 each in the Under-15 and Under-18 categories — will be aiming to win the Datuk Saifuddin Abdullah challenge trophy.

The carnival is a tribute by SportsUnite and sponsors to the dedication and passion of Saifuddin, a former higher education deputy minister who is now CEO of the Global Movement of Moderates.

Saifuddin is passionate about basketball and will present the prizes to the winning teams.

The carnival is jointly organised by SportsUnite and MVP Marketing and sponsored by USJ Summit, Milo, Revive Isotonic Drinks and Molten.

Entry fee is RM30 per team with cash prizes and items in kind from the sponsors for the top four teams.

Contact event technical director Wong Wing Wai (012-3585911) for more information. Entry forms are also available via facebook.com/sportsunite
