New Malaysia Ambassador present credentials to Montenegro President

CETINJE: The new Malaysia Ambassador to Montenegro, Anuar Kasman presented his credentials to Montenegro President Filip Vujanovic.

At the ceremony held at the president’s residence here, Anuar in his brief remarks said he was pleased to note that both Malaysia and Montenegro continue to have warm bilateral ties.

He expressed confidence that bilateral relations between both countries will continue to flourish under the able leadership of President Vujanovic.

Vujanovic, in welcoming the new Ambassador, was happy to reaffirm the close bilateral relations between Malaysia and Montenegro that have brought mutual benefits to the peoples of the two countries.

He expressed the hope that the two countries would be able to expand the scope and dimension of their bilateral cooperation in the near future, particularly in the areas of tourism, trade and investment as well as higher education.

Anuar was appointed to the Malaysian Administrative and Diplomatic Service in 1983.

He joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 1988 and had served in Malaysian diplomatic missions in Kuwait, Dhaka, Riyadh, and as Malaysia’s Consul-General in Chennai.
