SoftBank to invest in Tokopedia

TOKYO: SoftBank Corp announced yesterday it will lead a US$100 million (RM326 million) investment round in Indonesian e-commerce giant PT Tokopedia, the Japanese mobile carrier's third investment overseas under vice-chairman Nikesh Aurora. Its newly formed Internet and Media Inc will invest in a funding round with Sequoia Capital and existing shareholder SB Pan Asia Fund.
