Ketamine worth RM1.7m seized, 3 women, 1 man nabbed in Muar

JOHOR BARU: Police seized 14.3kg of ketamine with a street value of RM1.7million, with the arrest of three women and a man, after raiding a house in Taman Kg Tengah, Jeram in Muar, on Saturday.

Johor police chief Datuk Mokhtar Shariff said the suspects aged between 16 and 74, who have been remanded to facilitate investigations under Section 39B of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952 said a police team from the Muar police district narcotics department raided the premises at 2.30pm
They seized RM69,000, and various drugs and drug-related paraphernalia.

Police have yet to rule out the possibility that the premises was also used as a mini laboratory to process the illegal substance.
