The Mega MotoGP carnival returns to Sepang

SEPANG: The ever-popular Mega MotoGP Carnival returns to the Sepang Circuit from today to Sunday. In conjunction with the Shell Advance Malaysian Motorcycle Grand Prix 2014, the carnival which is free entry for all, is sure to thrill motorsports fans and their family and friends.

“The Mega MotoGP Carnival has been one of the highlights of the Malaysian MotoGP. It has grown from more than 60 booths in 2012 to more than 70 last year and this year the number of booths has increased to more than 80 booths.

“The two-wheel auto fiesta is seeing 65 vendors from a variety of categories serving up real treats for motorcycling fans with great discounts and promotions of up to 70 per cent, exclusively at the carnival,” said Sepang International Circuit chief executive officer Datuk Razlan Razali.

The Mega MotoGP Carnival has evolved into a huge celebration of all things related to two-wheel racing and it attracted more than 120,000 visitors last year.

The carnival is one of the biggest trade and vending events for MotoGP worldwide and was aptly given the official name of Mega MotoGP.

Major brands and companies that will be participating in the carnival include Shell, Dorna, Repsol, Petronas, Eneos, Motul, Benelli Keeway, Kawasaki Ducati, Naza, Boon Siew Honda, BMW Motorrad, KTM CBU, Chear Motor, Hong Leong Yamaha, Suzuki, Modenas, Red Bull and Tourism Malaysia.
