Nine injured in bus-lorry crash

KUALA LUMPUR: Nine out of 44 passengers of a bus sustained minor injuries when the bus they were travelling in was rammed by a lorry at KM 406 of the North-South Expressway, earlier this morning.

Selangor Fire and Rescue Department operations assistant director Mohd Sani Harul said the nine injured victims received medical treatment at the scene.

"The victims, comprising of seven adults and two children were given immediate treatment at the scene. The victims sustained minor injuries," he said.

Sani added the department received a distress call at 4.16am and firemen from Rawang fire station were deployed to the scene.
