HungryGoWhere coming to The Curve

KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia’s favourite foof blog, HungryGoWhere, will be celebrating its first anniversary soon.

To celebrate the occasion, HungryGoWhere will bring the country’s largest gathering of food trucks to the Curve on Nov 30, from 10am to 9pm.

Klang Valley’s most sought-after cuisines would be promoted during this meals-on-wheels event so that everyone can try great food without frills and fanfare.

Malaysians can expect a selection of pastas by SpagMe, flaky pastries of Wheeloaf; Italian favourites of La Famiglia and burger, grilled to perfection by experts like Dr Mak Rony, Babarittos and Big Hug Burger.

With 12 food trucks to whet taste buds, this will bring joy to food lovers.

Foodies would also stand a chance to receive more than RM5,000 worth of food truck fiesta vouchers online, at the roadshows and during the main event at The Curve.

The roadshows will be held from Nov 26 to Dec 3 at Universiti Malaya, Help University, Mahsa College, Pusat Bandar Damansara, Damansara Uptown 1 and Bandar Kinrara, Puchong.

HungryGoWhere country manager John Paul Sta Maria said: “We are one of the most exciting and comprehensive online food guides around and we epitomise the Kaki Makan spirit. This food truck fiesta is our way of thanking our fans.

“We will feature a range of foods to tempt the different palates in a way that has never been done before in Malaysia.”

“Answering the question ‘Hungry lar, go where?’, our online food guide has directed millions — locals and foreigners to diverse areas around the country by providing expert reviews and tips written by Malaysians, with halal options.

“We have a database of more than 45,000 photos and the 25,000 food reviews contributed by users across Malaysia,” he said.
