OLD EDWARDIANS TAKE DOWN MEMORY LANE

TAIPING: It was an evening of merriment for over 200 former Edwardians who gathered to renew old ties formed when they were students of the famous King Edward VII School.

The 47th annual dinner, held at Legend Inn, here, on Saturday evening, saw the old boys — some of whom are now corporate figures — and former teachers relishing the memories of the old days.

The event was organised by Old Edwardians Association of Malaysia, with the chief guest-of-honour being Datuk Redza Rafiq Abdul Razak, who is the Northern Corridor Implementation Authority chief executive officer.

The event began with a
welcome speech by association president Mohaideen A.K.
Mohd Ishack, followed by a toast to the Yang DiPertuan Agong Tuanku Abdul Halim Mu’adzam Shah and Perak ruler Sultan Nazrin Muizzuddin Shah, raised by the old boys.

Also present was school principal Abd Aziz Samsuddin. By Jaspal Singh
