2014 Asian MAKE winners revealed

KUALA LUMPUR: Teleos, in association with The KNOW Network, has announced the winners of the 2014 Asian Most Admired Knowledge Enterprises (MAKE) study.

A statement issued today in Hong Kong by said the Singapore Armed Forces has been recognized as the Overall Asian MAKE Winner for the second time.

This year’s Asian MAKE Winners were from Arup, Hong Kong; Baoshan Iron & Steel Co, Ltd. (China); BINUS University (Indonesia); CCC Heep Woh College (Hong Kong SAR, China); eClerx Services (India); Hindustan Unilever Limited (India); Infosys Limited (India); Korea Water Resources Corporation (S. Korea); Pertamina (Indonesia); Samsung Electronics (S. Korea); Samsung SDS (S. Korea); Singapore Armed Forces (Singapore); Tata Consultancy Services (India); Telkom Indonesia (Indonesia); The Titan Company (India); Toyota (Japan); Tsingtao Brewery (China); United Tractors (Indonesia); Wipro Limited (India) and Woods Bagot (Australia).

As for the selections, it was made by Asian-based Fortune 500 Senior Executives and Internationally recognized knowledge management/intellectual capital experts.

The panels rated organisations against the MAKE framework of eight-key knowledge performance dimensions – visible drivers of competitive advantage and intellectual capital growth.

The eight-key knowledge include creating an enterprise knowledge-driven culture, developing knowledge workers through senior management leadership, innovation, maximizing enterprise intellectual capital, creating a learning organization, delivering value based on customer/stakeholder knowledge and transforming enterprise knowledge into shareholder/stakeholder value.

The 2014 Asian MAKE Conference and Awards Ceremony, organized by the knowledge Management and Innovation Research Centre (KMIRC) of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University will be held in Hong Kong in January 2015.-- Bernama
