CIMB gives RM100,000 to NST fund

GEORGE TOWN: CIMB Bank Berhad yesterday contributed RM100,000 in support of Media Prima Berhad’s New Straits Times Humanitarian Fund.

Its corporate planning and management director Mohd Willieuddin Lim presented a mock cheque to NSTP northern region senior manager S. Linggaraj.

The event, held at the Gleneagles Medical Centre here, was witnessed by CIMB corporate responsibility department head Iqbal Abdul Rahim and Gleneagles Medical Centre chief executive officer Ivan Loh.

Iqbal said the contribution was part of CIMB’’s extensive corporate social responsibility programme.

He said the contribution would go a long way towards helping the underprivileged who suffer from congenital heart disease.
