KUALA LUMPUR: Umno delegates are in for a shock this Saturday.
Its vice president Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Hamidi is planning to show the beheadings by the Islamic State militants during his winding up speech.
All these uncensored video will be the highlight of his speech to warn delegates that this could happen here if the people failed to unite.
The "fear factor", he hoped, would jolt Umno members attending the Umno Assembly 2014.
"If they still do not wise up and realise the seriousness to be united, this will happen. I want to show them (the delegates) that the threat is real," he told reporters after meeting several representatives from Hamas including its Political Affairs head Mohammad Naser and Islamic Relations head Dr Khaled Qadami today.
On Palestine issues, Zahid said Hamas representatives had requested Malaysia to bring up the plight of the Palestinians in the United Nation's Security Council (UNSC).
"The request is made since Malaysia is a non-permanent member of UNSC. And, I will bring it up with the top leaders," he added.
