KULAIJAYA: The AmBank Group Club (KAG) recently donated essential items and adult diapers worth RM4,000 to the Kiwanis Down Syndrome Foundation and Rumah Sejahtera Kulai, here, recently.
They also contributed school items, cash and souvenirs to 66 students in the district for next year’s school term.
“Kulaijaya is the first place we are giving aid for Christmas and the back-to-school programme.
“We are proud of this effort and the Kulaijaya Municipal Council (MPKu) is with us on this. We will also organise similar programmes in Pahang, Selangor, Perlis, Sabah and Sarawak,” said AmBank Group Club (KAG) president Syed Anuar Syed Ali during the AMKasih programme launch.
Also present were MPKu president Abdul Rahman Salleh and AmBank (M) Bhd southern region director Shaiful Bahri Mohd Yaakob.
Syed Anuar said the projects were important to raise awareness and foster closer ties with the community.
