KUALA LUMPUR: A contract worker and a lorry driver were charged at the magistrate's court here with murdering their friend about two weeks ago.
K.Kumaran and R.Kunasundar, both 33, were jointly charged with causing the death of their colleague R.Ganesan, 47.
The duo were alleged to have committed the offence beside a shop in Kampung Batu, Batu 5, Jalan Ipoh here about 2.10am on Dec 7.
Both of them nodded as a sign they understood the charge that was read to them before magistrate Erry Shahriman Nor Aripin.
However, no plea was recorded.
The court fixed Feb 23 for mention pending the victim's post-mortem and chemist reports.
Deputy public prosecutor Nor Diana Nor Azwa prosecuted while Kumaran was represented by counsel K. Komagan.
Kunasundar was unrepresented.
