Exclusive trip to Thailand for BSN customers

KUALA LUMPUR: BANK Simpanan Nasional (BSN) recently treated 120 people, including winners of the premium savings certificates (SSP) draw and staff, to an exclusive four-day, three-night vacation to Thailand on board Superstar Libra cruise.

The ship also made stops at two popular tourist destinations in Thailand — Phuket and Krabi.

BSN Islamic Banking Department head Damanhuri Mahmod said this was the second time the bank was rewarding its investors in a year.

“We treated our previous winners in June to a trip in Korea.

“Those on the cruise won second place in our draw which ran between July and September,” he said, adding that the winners were allowed to bring their spouses.

Among the places they visited were Patong Beach, Phuket Shooting Range in Chalong, Sribhurapa Orchid Cashew Factory, Promthep Cape, Patong Mosque, Tiger Cave Temple in Krabi, Aonang Beach and Aonang Princeville Resort & Spa.

One of the winners, Ng Kai Fong, 33, was elated over the trip.

“This trip allows me to spend quality time with my wife.

“Not only did I get to save money through SSP, I am also being rewarded for my investment,” he said.

Mohamad Aidil Zali, 35, said: “I am enjoying my time away from work. The only drawback is that my pregnant wife could not join me.”

Ampigan Suppayah, 43, said: “ I am a little disappointed over not winning the grand prize, a Mercedes Benz. However, I am enjoying this trip.”

Poh Liew Hoah, 65, said this was the second time her family had won in BSN’s draw.

“My husband won a bungalow in Pajam through the SSP draw in the past. I will definitely continue investing with BSN,” she said.
