KOTA BARU: Kelantan is bracing for the worst as the water level of Sungai Kelantan in Kuala Krai rose almost 10m above the danger mark this morning to 34.77m.
A total of 32,731 people were evacuated as even Kota Baru which has not seen flood in many years was inundated since yesterday.
In Terengganu, the number of evacuees has shot up to 28,728 people from 22,536 yesterday due to continuous downpour and the high tide phenomenon.
Kemaman has the most number of evacuees with 19,133 at 52 centres.
In Pahang, 26,795 people from 7,013 families have been evacuated to 167 relief centres as at 8am.
