Jazz Community Malaysia organises fund raising for flood victims

KUALA LUMPUR: Jazz Community Malaysia and World Youth Jazz Festival have gathered 30 artistes for Jazz Ampang fund-raising initiative to help Malaysian flood victims nationwide.
Jazz Ampang in a statement today said the artistes will be performing on Sunday (Dec 28) between 9pm to midnight at Dagang Avenue Food Court, Taman Dagang, in Ampang.
All proceeds from the fund-raising initiatives will go to the Communications and Multimedia Ministry to help the flood victims.
Meanwhile, Bernama reported the number of evacuees in Kelantan were 32,343 followed by Terengganu (28,991), Pahang (24,316), Perak (4,335) and Perlis (265).
Meanwhile, the National Security Council, today, urged Johor residents to prepare for potential flooding from Dec 28 to 30, following adverse weather conditions.
Based on Malaysian Meteorological Department’s early warning, a downpour lasting up to three days might be expected.
