PENGKALAN CHEPA: Deputy Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin said more logistical support and assets would be mobilised to help people in flood-hit states.
He said food stock would also be increased to evacuation centres to ensure that victims were well taken care of.
He said there would also be more diesel consignment especially to hospitals without electricity in flood-hit districts.
He was speaking to reporters after visiting flood victims at SMK Pengkalan Chepa 1, here today.
He had earlier attended a flood briefing upon arrival at the Sultan Ismail Petra Airport in Pengkalan Chepa.
Also present at the briefing was Menteri Besar Datuk Ahmad Yakob.
