KUANTAN: Deputy Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin arrived at the Royal Malaysian Air Force(RMAF) Base here about 1pm to oversee the flood situation in the state.
He will perform his Friday prayers before joining the “solat hajat ”(in seeking divine intervention for the floods) at the RMAF mosque in the vicinity.
Muhyiddin, who arrived from Kelantan, is scheduled to later attend a briefing to get the latest on the flood situation here at Wisma Sri Pahang..
He is also expected to visit flood victims at Pahang Sports Complex in Indera Mahkota before travelling to the Welfare Department complex in Indera Mahkota, which is deployed to store food and other essentials.
