Floods: TNB sends 12,000kg worth of supplies to Kelantan

KUALA LUMPUR: Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) has prepared 12,000kg of food and clothing to be sent to flood victims in Kelantan.

TNB Human Resource vice-president Datuk Muhammad Razif Abdul Rahman handed over the supplies to the chief engineer of the Royal Engineers Regiment, Maj Gen Datuk Abdul Nasser Ahmad.

“The supplies include sardine, biscuits, mineral water, rice, chocolate beverages, and basic clothing,” he told reports at the handing over ceremony of the humanitarian aid for Kelantan flood victims here, today.

The supplies would be sent using helicopters from the Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF) base in Subang to Kelantan and would be handed over to the state government.

Muhammad Razif said TNB had also sent food supplies to flood victims in Terengganu and will next send aid to Pahang and Perak.-- BERNAMA
