PUTRAJAYA: The government has agreed to bring forward the date of the 1Malaysia People’s Aid (BR1M) payout to Jan 15 instead of the end of the month.
Second Finance Minister Datuk Seri Ahmad Husni Hanadzlah said yesterday it would be made in stages, with priority given to recipients in flood-hit states.
The government, he said, had decided to extend the BR1M application and particulars update exercise until Jan 31.
