SURABAYA: Three more bodies were identified at the Disaster Victim Identification centre here before they were handed over to the respective families.
They were Grayson Herbert Linaksita, Kevin Alexander Soetjipto and Indonesia Air Asia flight attendant Khairunissa Haidar Fauzi.
DVI commander Dr Budiyono said the three of them were positively identified using several standard methods such as comparing their dental records, finger print and personal belongings.
"The remains of four others have yet to be identified as we do not have enough ante-mortem details that could match them," he said.
A total of eight bodies recovered from the search area in waters off Pangkalan Bun in West Kalimantan have been sent to the DVI centre here.
The first victim to be identified was Hayati Lutfiah Hamid who had since buried at nearby Sidoarjo last night.
A total of 162 people were on board the Singapore bound flight that crashed in the Java sea on Sunday.
