KUALA LUMPUR: Gold futures contracts on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives opened mostly lower this morning with three contracts months traded.
At 9.45 am, January 2015 decreased 27 ticks to RM141.40 a gramme, February 2015 fell 22 ticks to RM141.70 a gramme and April 2015 slid 15 ticks to RM142.85 a gramme.
March 2015 remained unchanged at RM143.20 a gramme.
Turnover stood at 72 lots and open interest amounted to 3,537 contracts.
At 9.30 am, physical gold was down 62 sen to RM136.82 a gramme. – BERNAMA
