MALACCA: Six pre-war terrace houses along Jalan Parameswara here were destroyed in a fire this morning.
Five of the houses were vacant and no casualties were reported in the 9.50am incident.
Malacca Fire and Rescue Department Zone 1 operations chief Azman Sulaiman said four fire engines with 32 firemen were dispatched to the scene upon receiving a distress call at 9.56am.
"The cause of the fire is being investigated," he told reporters at the scene.
