GEORGE TOWN: Police arrested three suspects in connection with the murder of a 51-year-old man who worked at a security company.
The trio were hauled up to the Magistrate's court today for remand.
In the 9.30pm incident yesterday, the victim was shot dead in a multi purpose vehicle from a close range at Jalan Scotland here.
Police said initial investigations showed that two motorists pulled over and fired at least five shots to the head, shoulder and the back of the victim.
He died on the driver's seat while another 24-year-old front passenger fled the scene.
State Criminal Investigations Department chief Datuk Mazlan Kesah said the duo had previous criminal records.
