KUALA LUMPUR: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak has expressed his condolences to the president of the Malaysian Malay Chambers of Commerce (DPMM) Datuk Syed Ali Alattas on the death of his wife today.
“My condolences to Datuk Syed Ali Alattas (DPMM) on the passing of his wife, Sharifah Bahiah Ali As-Shahab today. May Allah bless her soul,” said Najib in his latest entry in his Facebook and Twitter.
Sharifah Bahiah was reported to have died at about 6.30 this morning at the Gleneagles Hospital, here.
Her remains were later taken home to Johor Baharu and later laid to rest at the Mahmoodiah Burial Ground after the Zohor prayer today. – BERNAMA
