KUALA LUMPUR: A road crash at the North Klang Valley Expressway (NKVE) near Damansara earlier today left three dead while another seriously injured.
The 6.30am incident at KM14.4 of the expressway (northbound/ Subang to Damansara direction) involved a garbage collection truck and four cars.
Selangor Fire and Rescue Department assistant director (operations) Mohd Sani Harul said they received a call on the accident at 6.50am, before a fire engine and an ambulance from Damansara and Subang Jaya stations were dispatched to the scene.
"Initial report showed the incident involved a 10-tonne garbage truck and four cars.
"Two women and a man were killed on the spot, while another who suffered serious injuries was rushed to hospital.
"Three other victims escaped unhurt," he said.
