KUALA LUMPUR: The leadership crisis in Pakatan Rakyat could affect their preparation for the Permatang Pauh by-election, DAP’s Ramkarpal Singh Deo said yesterday
“The issue here is leadership. I don’t know if there’ll be consensuses in Pakatan (on the by-election) if PAS is going to be in disagreement with DAP,"
he added.
Ramkarpal said DAP had no problems working with PKR during the by-election, as it was agreed that PKR would contest the seat.
He also said that there were no problems between DAP and PAS on the ground.
“Our problem is only with Hadi, and not with PAS members on the ground. By right, the cooperation between the grassroots should not be affected.
“However, it will boil down to leadership crisis in the end,” he added.
